Last Year we had BAE Sponsor us for 2 teams as we competed during the tournaments! We are currently asking BAE to sponsor us as well as DOW industries. We are hopeful to get both sponsors! I'll pay for a team out of pocket if not :)
Outside of the normal tournament season which ends in January, there is going to be an "FLL cup" and "Spring Showdown" which are not part of the normal season competitions. For those two events, I can't get corporate funding, and will be starting a "go fund me" to pay for them, so I will be asking for donations when the time comes to help make those events happen. :)
WE have 1x fundraisers we are trying to get filled to send teams to the Spring Showdown!!! Unfortunately they are not holding a FLL Cup this year in the greater San Diego area, Spring showdown is almost here!
We currently have a soft matt that we bring to scrimages and tournaments, which allows us to set up the game board and practice between rounds. Our soft matt is better than nothing ; however, it sometimes causes "bumps" which interfere with the robot performance. Other teams had this wonderful table at the last tournament which we would love to be have! Donating one of these would be AMAZING and very appreciated by all the teams in the future. I cannot fund raise for this on donorschoose so just hoping for some wonderful parents to purchase and donate one to the club!

BAE SYSTEMS has paid for both of our teams to compete this year by paying the $250 entry fee for two of our teams, and also paying the additional $100 needed for the game matt and models! They are awesome!!! Thank you so much BAE for paying so much of our teams way for the season!!! NOTE: that is for 2 teams....so that is like $700!!!!
