This year Quallcomm who will sponsor us for 2 teams as we compete during the tournaments! The coach covered the cost of the field matt and models for both teams this year.
Outside of the normal tournament season which ends in January, there is going to be a "Spring Showdown" and possibly a "FLL Cup" which are not part of the normal season competitions. For those two events, I can't get corporate funding, and will be starting a "go fund me" to pay for them, so I will be asking for donations when the time comes to help make those events happen. :)
FLL Cup Go Fund me (Parents please fund this, I can't get corporate sponsors, typically the 6th grade team does this event)
Spring Showdown Go Fund me.(Parents please fund this, I can't get corporate sponsors)
We currently have a soft matt that we bring to scrimages and tournaments, which allows us to set up the game board and practice between rounds. Our soft matt is better than nothing ; however, it sometimes causes "bumps" which interfere with the robot performance. Other teams had this wonderful table at the last tournament which we would love to be have! Donating one of these would be AMAZING and very appreciated by all the teams in the future. We cannot fund raise for this on donorschoose so just hoping for some wonderful parents to purchase and donate one to the club!
The CMS Robotics club welcomes all students grades 6-8 to join and form teams to compete in house and in tournaments!
"The 7th grade team that came back from last year!"
"The mixed team of 6-8 grade engineers!"
"Our All 6th grade team"
"Our other 6th grade team"
